Ms. Stuttgen’s classroom was busy today. Intro to Animal Science has been studying feedstuffs and had the opportunity to handle and smell a few samples I collected. Thank you Miltrim Farms and Kelly Bunkelman for the feed samples for the students to investigate. Then Intro to Ag decorated sugar cookies to look like specific beef breeds to wrap up their large animal unit. Then we finished the day with FFA members carving pumpkins. view image

Ms. Borchardt’s 3rd grade students have been working on giving positive compliments to their peers to build others up and to create an empowering learning environment. Every morning, during our morning meeting, we recognize our “Bluejay of the Day.” To model how this activity should look, we invited Mrs. Redmann, Mr. Nowacki, and Ms. Larsen to be our Bluejay’s of the Day! The students had so many awesome things to share about each of these individuals and all they do in our school! It is so cool to witness our 3rd grade students be kind people and compliment not only the teachers, but now each other during this daily activity! Keep spreading kindness like confetti 3rd graders! 🤩😁 view image
