6th grade students had the honor of meeting Mr. Jim Servi, father of three boys (including one of our own- Joseph Servi!) and author of the book “Forever Changed,” a historical fiction novel about the lives of those in Afghanistan after September 11th. Students were able to listen to a chapter of the book and interview the author! Thank you to Mr. Jim Servi for your military service and for coming out to keep our 6th grade students engaged in literacy!

Craftsmanship students built a sturdy stool for Mrs. N. Job well done!! Thanks Fellas!!

FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) has been super busy making blankets to donate as well as selling fruit!!

The 3rd grade students created STEM snowflakes in science using toothpicks and marshmallows. Each student came up with their own unique design. In celebration of their hard work and creativity, they all enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate to follow.
Definitely a lot of learning and holiday cheer in the classroom. Awesome job 3rd graders! 😊

The United States History II class when they studied World War I created Dazzle Ships. They were also known as Razzle Dazzle ships because of the camouflage patterns that were created. You will see examples created by the juniors as well as the names they "gifted" the ships with their service in our navy.

Order your yearbook for the holidays!
