A reminder that the Music Awards date and time has been changed. It will be Wednesday with Middle School's at 5:30 pm and High School's at 6:30 pm. Both are in the Middle/High School Commons.

AHS NHS, FBLA, Freshmen class and Athens Acres 4-H volunteer for their community by helping the Athens Cemetery Association with a spring clean up.

Advanced Biology students visited UW Platteville today. Students were able to participate in a cadaver lab tour where they learned about the anatomy of the human body. Thanks to Ms. White for coordinating this activity.

First grade gets as close as possible with their magnifying glasses during rocks and soils day.

Through a grant received from Marshfield Clinic Health System and Security Health Plan, yoga mats and blocks were purchased for students interested in learning about yoga and healthy lifestyles during their flex period. Middle school students will be added in fall.

Meleah Redmann was just elected State Vice President of the Skills USA. The highest honor that Athens has ever got from skills. Congratulations!

To celebrate spring, Mrs. Hartwig’s PK class sorted Easter eggs into color patterns, found chick baskets filled with sweet treats hidden in the classroom, and painted earths for Earth Day.

Fourth graders took a step back in time with a visit to the Little Red School House at Marathon Park, Wausau.

Middle School Track at Spencer has been canceled for tonight due to the weather.

Mrs. Byrd's first graders enjoy learning in the "Byrd House!"

Both Middle and High School track meets are canceled for tomorrow. High School has a meet Monday bus leaving at 2:30. Middle School has a meet on Monday bus leaving at 3:00.

Second graders took time to enjoy the sunshine and practice math skills in the outdoor classroom.

Mrs. Haines's 3rd Graders have been studying natural disasters in science. Today they worked on building volcanoes to see how they work.
